DAMAGE calculations (with all possible bonuses)
Withour further ado, let's go directly to some examples! :ugeek:

Example 1

What is the damage of 100 warlocks (in the army of 100 warlocks)?

  • basic damage of 1 warlock = 285 (fire)
  • 3rd level of damage upgrade = 3 x 8 = 24

  • 10th level of Weaponry hero skill = 10 x 3% = 30%
  • 2nd level of damage potion = 15%
  • summary (of Damage + %) in artifacts = 45 %

  • special warlock's ability "Battle Rage" = 15 %

Special ability Battle Rage
1) So the warlock's special ability can have the full power, the ratio of warlocks' upkeep to the overall army upkeep has to be at least 1:5. Warlocks' upkeep is (100 x 15 =) 1500, the overall army upkeep (made purely by these warlocks :D ) is 1500. The condition is fulfilled, Battle Rage of the warlocks is at maximum: +15%

Final damage (fire) of 100 warlocks:
X = (basic damage + upgrades) x bonuses sum x Battle Rage
X = (285 +24) x 1,(0,30 + 0,15 + 0,45) x 1,15
X = 309 x 1,9 x 1,15
X = ca 675 (1 warlock) = 67 517 (100 warlocks)



Example 2

What is the damage of 1500 grunts (in the army of 1500 grunts, 10 Saurians and 300 warlocks)?

  • basic damage of 1 grunt = 35 (physical)
  • 3rd level of damage upgrade = 3 x 2 = 6

  • 10th level of Weaponry hero skill = 10 x 3% = 30%
  • 2nd level of damage potion = 15%
  • summary (of Damage + %) in artifacts = 45 %

  • special warlock's ability "Battle Rage" = 15 %
  • special Saurian's ability "Battle Rage" = 50 %

Special ability Battle Rage
1) So the warlock's special ability can have the full power, the ratio of warlocks' upkeep to the overall army upkeep has to be at least 1:5. Warlocks' upkeep is (300 x 15 =) 4500, the overall army upkeep is 10000. The condition is fulfilled, Battle Rage of the warlocks is at maximum: +15%
2) So the Saurians's special ability can have the full power, the ratio of Saurians' upkeep to the overall army upkeep has to be at least 1:5. Saurians' upkeep is (10 x 100 =) 1000, the overall army upkeep is 10000.
The ratio of Saurians to the whole army is 1:10. Because there is just an (exact) half of Saurians needed, their Battle Rage' effect is also halved: 25 % (instead of 50 %)

Final damage (physical) of 1500 grunts:
X = (basic damage + upgrades) x bonuses sum x (sum of Battle Rage abilities)
X = (35 +6) x 1,(0,30 + 0,15 + 0,45) x 1,(0,15 + 0,25)
X = 41 x 1,9 x 1,40
X = ca 109 (1 grunt) = 163 590 (1500 grunts)

I thought special Abilities with a positive effect (damage increase) have a ratio of 1:4 ?
I'm confused :?
Got that from your "Unit special abilites overview"

Don't forget that some (actually the most) units with special (positive) abilities have effect on themselves as well.
Consequence: The ratio has to be at most 1:4 to the rest of (own or allied) units.

No mistake ;) 1:4 to the rest of army or 1:5 to the overall army. ;) So it is just a matter of view, whether you count them or not.
