You are welcome to discuss here about anything. Introduce yourself, asking question & giving advice. (Asking others to stop changing your translated texts all the time... and so on.)

If you want to create a discussion extra for you language, create it here, in "Translators Chat" section.

Hmm, for example, I am one of two Pixel translators responsible for slovak, german and english versions of Emporea. :)

Some of your questions so far:

1) If I see any words written in capitals do i have to write the translation in capitals too?

YES

2) If meaning of german and english text vary, which version should I follow?

Always the english version.

3) For some critical words (race name/ skill/ city..) I dont think it's needed to be translated into my languange for some reasons:
1. They would be a little corny or funny
2. english/ international versions of the words are already common expression too, in my country

Do what you feel is right. You know the best what is used most in your language - if the international version of the word, or your native equivalent.

4) There is no word for "Farseer" in my language.

Don't worry about it. Use your creativity! Think about what the world represents (ask, if you dont know) and decide how you would name it. It doesn't need to be literal translation. And, we can always change it afterwards, in case you have better idea later.
(the same for another words/expressions they prove challenging to translate)

The translation its needed to be in a polite language or more common?

Example:

You its the same to say TU or USTED in spanish, the difference its that TU its more common and USTED more polite (used to ask with respect or to ppl just met, also in same places to speack with your father)

I would use "TU", more informal/common and friendly version. :) (I learn spanish, but I still don't know enough to translate the game :( ...)

..We have it the same way in other languages, like german, slovak, czech.

Hi i'm Jaume and i started to translate the game to the Spanish version today,i saw there are tons of translations already done and some of them were pretty good, especially the translations about the history of Emporea(kudos to the translator) but some of them were quite awful,i bet that they were translated with the google translator,im doing my best to correct them and translate new texts :D

I'd like to keep in touch with my fellow spanish translators,i'm Jaume Carrasco Tomas, feel free to send me messages or a friend request via Facebook ;)

TRANSLATOR TOOL CHANGED!!

Before:
- If your translated text is finished, just click "Save (proofread)"
- If you want to save your work and finish later, click "Save as concept"

NOW:
- Just click "Save", after you finish translating. :)

The texts are that short, that "saving of concept" wasn't used at all. More than that, it was confusing...

You can skip this text as well. This text it not used right now. Also all another texts with comment "NEPOUZIVA SA" (I admit, it wasnt very smart from us to comment it in slovak...)

The reason why you cannot post is that you probably used (or copied) ENTER in these texts. ;) Don't press ENTER in the Tool at all.
(We just write additional text if we want something to start in a new line)

He, he, he :-( It saddens me that the heroes are male, though it makes it easier to translate.
